Women in Media? You Bet.
Well, maybe hiring Katie Couric to anchor the CBS Evening News isn’t a revolution but it is a sign of traditional media looking at new ways of doing things. I also think it is good news for women in all sectors including business, media and government.

I have found the debate on the Katie Couric issue interesting if not surprising. It seems many can’t find a way to reconcile that a woman that is perky, attractive and personable could also be trusted to deliver the nightly news with authority.

I take it as good news for us at Know More Media. Our talented contingent of women authors grows weekly. Each of their individual voices is unique and important to the success of our business news and information network. I don’t think we are doing anything special here in that respect – just trying to find the best authors we can. Many of them are women and while I don’t know this, some may even be perky, attractive and personable. That is neither relevant or important to their value to our product but it will not disqualify them either.

Their expertise and knowledge adds to the collective business experience.  Find out for yourself by reading them.
