If you didn’t hear about the case of mistaken identity at the BBC, stick with me. The BBC was doing a story on online music (Apple I-tunes versus the Beatles Apple label). The plan called for the BBC to interview Newswireless.net editor Guy Kewney. Imagine Guy’s surprise when he was introduced but the cameraman panned over to
“Guy Goma, a Business Studies graduate, from the Congo…[who was] in reception because he was applying for a high level IT job with the BBC.”
And imagine Guy Goma's surprise when the camera light came on and he was introduced as Guy Kewney, internet expert. Actually, you don't have to imagine.
You have to see it to believe it.
