
1. Don't believe everything you read, see, or hear.
2. Talking to the source can clear up a mountain of confusion. So don't content yourself to listen to someone who (maybe) heard something from someone who (maybe) talked to the source.
3. Patience, politeness and diligence will ultimately win out over impoliteness, meanness and laziness.
4. People are more important than numbers (and numbers are most important as they relate to people).
5. Success doesn't always come overnight. But just do your best and be persistent and the best possible result will occur.
6. Blogging can require a tremendous amount of mental energy. So get enough sleep and take frequent breaks.
7. You can't please everyone all the time.
8. As much as people say they hate list posts, putting "10 Things" in a post title will probably get more people to look at what you have to say.
9. We human beings, as individuals, know so little. We need each other.
10. There is more to do than time to do it - so plan carefully.
