Personally I think that the release of Vista by Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) will be as significant change as when the world transitioned from DOS at the release of Windows.

Just as with the release of Windows, many of these new features found in Vista are found elsewhere individually (and some may be even better), but no one integrates across multiple applications and lowers the total hassle cost for the user better than Microsoft.
What do I think will be earth-shaking and change the computing landscape?
Here are a couple of my thoughts:
-The ability of IE7 to automatically discover RSS feeds will have a huge impact. Today roughly 2% of the internet population use RSS. With IE7 and having RSS readers integrated into Outlook and 70% of the Internet population now having these features, subscriptions will skyrocket.
- Today, most documents and websites are primarily 2 dimensional - a few photos, static content, and an occasional video clip and audio file. I believe Vista will allow the common man to easily integrate sound, audio, and motion to documents, presentations, and websites.
I also am excited about the voice recognition features and the gadgets that will be available.
Vista has also been widely covered on the Know More Media network. Here are some of the top stories:
