Know More Media Review: Life in an Information Society
So much is changing. We are living in a global Information Society in which technology is primary, new media is changing the way we obtain information and the construct of our society seems to be transforming before our eyes. Today I will highlight posts that demonstrate major changes that are effecting business, politics and social interaction.Information-Society.jpg

AListReview is covering politics and exibiting the potential political power of new media. Author Diane Ensey revealed how not to campaign, citing George Allen as the #1 offender. She also examined Pervez Musharraf's appearance on the Daily Show, calling the Pakistani president "
a scary good politician [who] came across as thoughtful, intelligent, politically adept and having a sense of humor." If you were looking for more political blogs, the AListReview author disclosed her personal A-List from the blogosphere.

The emerging industry of Social Networking is a hot topic these days. Even the Health Care industry is leveraging the power of new media to "raise a company’s profile and profit margins." Traditional media giants like Fox and Viacom are jumping on the bandwagon, some a little slower than others. AdHurl offered a bleak outlook for the future of MySpace as a vast wasteland for advertising. SocialRiots invited readers to a dialogue about the cold future as predicted by a recent research panel and asked is social networking making us cold?

It is becoming more apparent that the international oil supply is being depleted and new forms of energy need to be implemented world wide. This week
SouthAsiaBiz showed us how renewable energy could be the savior for China and India and IndianRaj gave another example of how to  fight the oil crisis in India. The question is will this developing nation do what it takes to come out on top?

The revolution may not be televised but it most certainly is walking down the runway. It looks when some countries decided to ban skinny models during fashion week it opened doors for a change in the fashion status quo.
