Time for a round-up of what's been happening on the Know More Media network at this, the start of the week before Christmas. Congratulations to Bill Belew, our Incredible Author for November. I'm certain this honor has been a long time coming for this author with a quirky edge. Belew writes for three blogs on the network and cranks out 3-4 articles per blog, per day, and managed to network himself a significant reading community.
On his PanAsianBiz blog, Belew pointed ways the presence of multinationals slows brain drain in China, encouraging the countries best and brightest to stay right at home. I was slightly confused about the communist party union at Wal-Mart, but I suppose one of the most basic principles of communism is to protect the interests of the workers.
HealthCareVox author Fard Jahnmar been keeping the pulse of the health care blogosphere. While anonymity and the use of pseudonyms in blogging seems to be widely practiced, the credibility of health care bloggers has been questioned for doing so. The debate of source anonymity usually favors journalists, as they are considered by many business and government watch-dogs. What if the journalist is the source? Jahnmar interviewed Gladfly and examined the issues of anonymity for health care bloggers and whistle blowers in general.
On his usual quest for substance and meaning on the Internet, author of BizMediaScience Joseph Carrabis is also discovering its true power in various ways. Check out what the author has to say about the Internet, social awareness and grass-roots fundraising. According to ElephantBiz, online fundraising is working for politicians as well. The Internet has proven itself so powerful that Time Magazine even chose the people as "Time's Person of the Year."
