Dr. Ellen Weber of BrainBasedBusiness.com has been chosen to receive Know More Media's Incredible Author Award for Dec 2006. BrainBasedBusiness discusses benefiting at work from brain-based insights, as well as how to use your brain more effectively—certainly topics from which we can all benefit.

Bob and Helen Parr were the Incredibles—Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl (Mrs. Incredible). Through their efforts and unique talents, they achieved superhuman, incredible feats. We give out a monthly award here at Know More Media and call it the Incredible Author Award (also accompanied by an Incredible PEZ dispenser given to the recipient). It is given to the Author who has been particularly incredible during the month—the one who has really stood out and put in the extra effort.

Dr. Weber started writing for the Know More Media blog network in April 2006. She was the launching author for BrainBasedBusiness.com, a blog born from her own idea, initiative, and expertise. Dr. Weber is the founder and CEO of the International MITA Center, a brain based renewal center. She has published dozens of articles in journals, periodicals, and newspapers on the topic of using more brain for smarter solutions. She is an internationally known speaker and columnist who has taught at multiple universities, including the University of Toronto, University of Victoria, University of British Columbia, the University of Phoenix Online, and Tourou International University. Her credentials abound.
