I must apologize for neglecting you this week, my dear readers. You might have noticed a bit of buzz around the Freedom Writers movie release. For me the release of this movie has been more than just buzz, it has been a whirlwind as I have participated in a few parts of the local press coverage in addition to helping at the foundation and attending the premier last night (about which I will have more details for you later). Tonight the Freedom Writers are planning to go en mass to see the movie on opening night, and I hope you will do the same.
As you can see this first week of the year has truly been amazing for me and the Freedom Writers with all of the action, I am glad to slow down to serve up the Friday highlights from the Know More Media network. Because I am still riding the Freedom Writers Movie release wave into the weekend, I will condense my regular analysis into a list of selected topics or, as my colleague Easton Ellsworth
calls it, speed-linking. Hopefully life will regain some remnant of normality next week so I can indulge in the usual in-depth thoughts on network news.
