Marshall Sponder of WebMetricsGuru.com has been chosen to receive Know More Media's Incredible Author Award for Jan 2007. WebMetricsGuru is a blog that discusses web analytics and web metrics and how to use them to track and improve web conversions.

Bob and Helen Parr were the Incredibles—Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl (Mrs. Incredible). Through their efforts and unique talents, they achieved superhuman, incredible feats. We give out a monthly award here at Know More Media and call it the Incredible Author Award (also accompanied by an Incredible PEZ dispenser given to the recipient). It is given to the Author who has been particularly incredible during the month—the one who has really stood out and put in the extra effort.

Marshall has been on the Know More Media network for exactly one year—one of our veterans! He was the launching author of WebMetricsGuru, a blog Marshall suggested due to his web metrics and web analytics expertise and experience. Since its launch, the blog has demonstrated very steady and strong traffic growth; in particular, in the past 5 months, the traffic has increased over 200%. Marshall has also lead WebMetricsGuru to rank #1 in the Know More Media network in Technorati rank, Alexa rank, and RSS feed subscriptions—an amazing trifecta of accomplishments. Marshall also has attended many conferences and reported on them in real-time on his blog, the last one being the AlwaysOn conference in NYC Jan 29-31.
