Andrew Smyth of TheInsurancePolicy.com has been chosen to receive Know More Media's Incredible Author Award for Feb 2007. TheInsurancePolicy is a blog that covers news, views, and analysis of the insurance industry and the business of insurance.

Bob and Helen Parr were the Incredibles—Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl (Mrs. Incredible). Through their efforts and unique talents, they achieved superhuman, incredible feats. We give out a monthly award here at Know More Media and call it the Incredible Author Award (also accompanied by an Incredible PEZ dispenser given to the recipient). It is given to the Author who has been particularly incredible during the month—the one who has really stood out and put in the extra effort.

Andrew has been writing on TheInsurancePolicy for almost a year—he was its launching author. Since its launch, the blog has demonstrated steady and strong traffic growth, particularly in the past 3 months, when Andrew has achieved a 1300% increase in traffic on the blog. Andrew makes a difficult topic like insurance understandable and interesting to read—not an easy task!  

Andrew is very well qualified in this topic, having years of experience in the insurance industry, as well as possessing several securities and insurance licenses. He has also taught a pre-license securities course, so understands insurance from a teaching standpoint, which has certainly bode him well in his authorship of TheInsurancePolicy.
