
Our own George Parker of AdHurl.com spoke and headed a panel discussion on the topic “Will Media Replace the Creative Agency?” at the recent “psfk trends conference” in NYC, a conference that discussed trends, ideas, and new marketing. The conference was held on March 6.
George initially announced his appearance at the conference on AdHurl a month ago, and now that he’s back, he says he intends to write more about the conference in upcoming days. George’s panel was featured on a few online sites, such as a kugel and MarketingVox.com. By a kugel’s account, it was “quite a compelling panel.”
Among the topics discussed on the panel were such items as "Media has changed, ad content hasn't," "Media & ad relevancy," and the possible death of the traditional creative ad agency as we know it, with more niche advertising agencies and segmentation then ever before.
