Bill Hobbs of ElephantBiz.com has been chosen to receive Know More Media's Incredible Author Award for Mar 2007. ElephantBiz is a blog that covers news, views, analysis, and the business of the Republican Party and Conservative politics.

Bob and Helen Parr were the Incredibles—Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl (Mrs. Incredible). Through their efforts and unique talents, they achieved superhuman, incredible feats. We give out a monthly award here at Know More Media and call it the Incredible Author Award (also accompanied by an Incredible PEZ dispenser given to the recipient). It is given to the Author who has been particularly incredible during the month—the one who has really stood out and put in the extra effort.

Bill was the launching author for ElephantBiz, and has been writing on it for four months. Since its launch, the blog has demonstrated impressive traffic growth, particularly in the past 3 months, and from Feb—Mar, Bill helped the blog achieve a traffic increase of 1400%—an amazing accomplishment. ElephantBiz is receiving constant recognition and mention on such popular sites as Instapundit.com, PajamasMedia.com, and even Technorati's Buzz TV, where it was cited as a source along with The Wall Street Journal.

Bill Hobbs has spent his career in journalism, and has been involved in blogs essentially since the birth of the weblog, both as blogger (his own BillHobbs.com) and as media & blogging consultant and coach. As you can read on ElephantBiz, Bill is extremely well-connected in Republican Party politics (served as a legislative aide at one point) and very plugged-in to its current events. You don’t have to be a Republican to appreciate the high quality of content Bill delivers on ElephantBiz; he really does his research and offers excellent analysis and opinion.
