We love being able to highlight the authors on our network… okay, brag about them. Recently, Joseph Carrabis, author of BizMediaScience.com, a Know More Media blog that discusses the science of communicating and marketing a business, was named a Senior Research Fellow and Advisory Board member of the Society for New Communications Research (SNCR). The SNCR is a “non-profit global think tank dedicated to the advanced study of new communications tools, technologies and emerging modes of communication, and their effect on traditional media, professional communications, business, culture and society.”
As a recent press release states, “as a Fellow of the SNCR, Carrabis will participate on the advisory board and ensure that the SNCR remains at the forefront of new communications developments by offering insight and counsel, participating in the Society’s research initiatives and educational programs and contributing to its publications.”
Joseph brings to the table an impressive array of experience and accomplishments. He is the author of 22 books and over 300 articles in various disciplines and areas of expertise, including social network topologies, mathematics, information mechanics, cultural-knowledge modeling, and more. He has also been a lead speaker, guest presenter, and panelist at a variety of conferences and conventions, including the recent Emetrics Summit SF 2007. He is also the CRO and Founder of NextStage, a consulting, research, tool development and training company that specializes in interaction with digital media and business problems in marketing, education, and security.
We are thrilled that Joseph has been honored with this appointment as Senior Research Fellow of SNCR. We are very glad to have an expert of his caliber and authority in our growing network of business blogs. He is exemplary of the quality of author on our team of business blog authors. Congratulations, Joseph!
