Perhaps the offer to create your own profile and claim that "this campaign is about you" on his official website is Obama's way of recovering?

As far as I can tell, he was not fired because of his language, he was fired because he became a monetary liability. CBS is a business, and there was no violation of Imus' right to free speech by the government; I doubt Imus has a leg to stand on.
