In another discussion of privacy of another kind: Would you rather have junk in your physical mailbox or in your email inbox? MarketingBlurb author, Susan Gunelius, said marketers will now be able to send certified mass emails with a guarantee that the consumers will receive it. According to Gary Borgeult (TheAlphaMarketer), snail mail may be the way to go if consumers continue to largely consider marketing mail in their email inbox as an invasion of privacy. Marketers should heed the warning signs, and avoid alienating potential customers with overly invasive marketing tactics.
Deborah Ng, author of WorkFromHomeMomma, offered excellent tips for coping with “summer kids,” and still maintain a full, productive work schedule. Carolyn Manning of ProductivityGoal recommends ditching multi-tasking because it decreases productivity. Manning says it is best to focus on one task at a time—you get more accomplished. Utilizing the tips and suggestions offered by Ng and Manning, I might be able to maintain my sanity this summer while my children are out of school. What about you?
