BizofShowBiz author Gary Bourgealt discussed the recent promise by Sen. John D. Rockefeller to submit legislation for the regulation of "violent, indecent, and profane" content on television. I personally would never vote for such legislation. If public outcry was enough to get Don Imus removed from the airwaves, couldn't the same be said for violent TV content? If there is one thing networks - and anyone in business for that matter - responds to, it is the loss of potential or real profits.
Bourgealt has also been keeping tabs on the

BrainBasedBusiness author Dr. Ellen Weber offered some great suggestions to live beyond brooding. Sometimes it takes an expert to tell you that worrying can take its toll on your health but does it really take an expert to tell you to let some of those weights go? If you do, Dr. Weber has some brain based approaches to avoid dwelling too long and lift you out of mental potholes.
Deb Ng of WorkFromHomeMomma lamented her inability to keep up with her email and asked others find to be their biggest challenges as work-from-home parents. Mine is not working too hard and lack of focus with the kids out of school for summer. What about you?
A while back, BizMediaScience author Joseph Carrabis wrote about Stacy Snider's drunken pirate incedent. WindKiller, a regular reader disagreed with Carrabis' analysis and let him know as much in an email. Check out Carrabis' four part public response to WindKiller's assertions about perception, image, freedom and making moral judgments.
