It’s with great pleasure that I highlight a recent achievement of one of our authors, Michelle Dunn of BizCreditPolicy.com. Her book Starting a Collection Agency, How to Make Money Collecting Money, Second Edition recently won the New York Book Festival award for best book in the “How To” category.

Each year, the New York Book Festival names the best books of its yearly competition in 15 different categories. In addition to the actual awards for the best books, “the Festival includes a daytime celebration in Manhattan's magnificent Central Park on Saturday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. near the Naumburg Bandshell. The day festival is free, open to the public and will feature vendors, author readings and signings, music, clowns, face-painting, children's story-telling circles and more.” Michelle, along with the other winners, will attend the awards cocktail ceremony in New York City on Friday evening.

This is the second award that Starting a Collection Agency has collected (pun intended), having received the Writer's Digest Self Published Book Award for the first edition of the book. Michelle continues to get recognized for her writing, accomplishments, and expertise, as we’ve highlighted in previous articles here.
