However, who expected a YouTube video of a hysterical Britney Spears fan to pick up more than four million views and solicit video spoofs and responses that kicked in several hundred additional views. If only she could have been so impassioned as 19-year old Chris Crocker that posted his tearful demand to stop the Britney bashing and take up any issues with him. YouTube videos and replies, MTV streaming of the performance, blog posts. That is a lot of media. And to think, it all started with little old Britney looking dazed and confused. According to Dlisted, those tears from Chris are real and
"Chris has already spoken to Howard Stern, ABC News and he's scheduled for CNN, The View as well as other radio stations."
If you dare, experience it yourself. Remember how you felt when you watched Britney? Embarassed right, but you could not look away. Mutiply that by 10X for how you will feel watching Chris Crocker. There are several noteworthy responses and spoofs of Crocker. None better in my opinion than this tearful gem pleading to leave Britney's fan alone.
But also check out these as well.
It really is more entertaining than the first five minutes of the VMAs.
