
Two of our marketing/advertising blogs have recently received some great news: they were ranked in the AdAge.com’s Power 150, which is “a ranking of the top English-language media and marketing blogs in the world.” The Power 150 actually lists over 500 blogs, ranking them according to a combination of such factors as search engine inlinks, Alexa ranking, subscribers, and other online ranking measures. We are proud to announce that, currently, MarketingBlurb.com ranks #57 in the Power 150, and AdHurl.com ranks #261 (click here for the full rankings).
MarketingBlurb.com is a blog written by experienced marketer and author Susan Gunelius, who has been published on Entrepreneur.com, has two new books being published this year, and has worked in marketing for some of the largest companies in the world. MarketingBlurb is a discussion of best marketing practices, budget, theories, positioning, books, tools, outsourcing, strategy, marketing plans, integration, marketing campaign, etc. Susan has been directing and writing MarketingBlurb since the middle of 2007. A ranking of #57 is phenomenal—many congratulations to Susan for her excellent writing.
George Parker’s AdHurl.com has also been well-recognized in the Power 150, coming in at #261. George is a highly-awarded and internationally-experienced 30-year advertising veteran who has written a book on advertising, spoken in conferences, and is an all-around lively chap and writer. AdHurl takes a no-holds-barred ride through the current state of advertising, discussing current ad campaigns, advertising news, ad firms, etc.
