Know More Media Review: Spitzer Scandal, Political Mud Slinging, and Recession Concerns
The last couple of weeks have been quite interesting in terms of news. Last week was dominated by recession news and this week was dominated by scandal. Politics has also been a huge player over the last several months with the primary elections and caucuses taking place across the nation.

Let's start with the run-down on the Elliotwhirlwind.jpg Spitzer scandal. TheDemoMemo author Claire Celsi was shocked and disappointed when she learned that Spitzer had spent thousands of dollars on a high priced call girl. LeaderNotes author Bridget Wright was also disappointed but expressed respect for Spitzer's taking responsibility for his actions, noting that leaders will always be held to a higher standard by those they lead. Dr. Ellen Weber of BrainBasedBusiness discussed how Spitzer was sabotaged by the choices he made and examined how seemingly ordinary choices can be harmful to business and life in general. In an interesting take, Marshall Sponder of SocialRiots examined the issue in terms of how information spreads virally.

In other political news, the presidential campaigning continues to be ugly with mud-slinging amongst the candidates as well as politicos finding any reason to tear people down. While Clinton supporter Geraldine Farraro forced the race issue, claiming that Obama would not be in his current position if he were a White male or a woman. ElephantBiz author John Xavier discussed the frustration Clinton supporters are experiencing with Obama's widespread popularity. Gary Bourgeult, author Manager'sRealm wondered if the Clinton campaign was imploding with the Spitzer scandal and Farraro disgrace over racially charged comments.
