The business world is rife with witty and clever humor, from the legendary Dilbert comic to the current The Office TV show. Likewise, one of our Know More Media authors is making a name for herself in the business humor arena. Linda Marie, author of HelpDeskNotes.com, was recently named a Finalist in the February/March Humor Writing Contest for HumorPress.com.

Linda’s article entitled “My Safe Mode Dream” was originally published on HelpDeskNotes.com, our blog that is devoted to the help desk industry—help desk reps, tech support reps, help desk management, software, applications, etc. Linda then submitted the article to the HumorPress contest, and it was named one of 8 Finalists for the Feb/Mar 2008 Contest, getting published on HumorPress.com. In the article, Linda takes on the role of being a computer who has retreated into Safe Mode to protect herself from the dreaded User. It’s very funny, certainly deserving of a Finalists spot (if not higher), and well worth a read.

Linda has published many funny Humor for Tech Support articles on HelpDeskNotes. My congratulations go to Linda for this fantastic accomplishment, and my thanks go to her for bringing laughter into my day.
