My name is Dan Smith and I am presently the Vice President of Publishing for Know More Media. My responsibilities entail the recruitment, training, and management of our team of expert authors, as well as the editing, quality control, and overall publication of our many business blogs. For the record, I love what I do. Off the record, I still love what I do.

I am one of those people with an odd mixture of right-brain and left-brain tendencies. While my true passion is to read and write, I also excel at management, operations, organization, and strategy. I possess an MBA from the Marriott School of Management (BYU), a BA in Economics (BYU), and I have also written and edited a complete novel.  

Previous to joining Know More Media, I was a Manager for T-Mobile USA. Prior to that, I was the Vice President of Marketing for Senior Discover, Inc, a provider of online technology and services. That came on the heels of my service as the Vice President of Marketing for Marketing Ally Teleservices, a call center that was ranked in the USA Top 50; for the same company I also worked as the Outbound Director of the call center for a time.  

Throughout my career I have managed numerous business teams to profitability, sales, and operational success, I have created and implemented strategic marketing programs, and I have written and developed many websites, training manuals, technical documents, and – of course – the occasional blog. Alas, my novel is not yet ready for public consumption, if it ever will be – don’t hold your breath. In my spare time, I've embarked on writing my second novel. You may want to hold your breath for that one, though - I make no promises.
