Hello, I am Kimberlee Morrison, Editorial Assistant for Know More Media. My job here is to promote network blogs, highlight various posts or authors, research informational resources for new authors, answer the info@knowmoremedia email and a couple other administrative duties.
I graduated from California State University of Long Beach (CSULB) in May 2006 with a BS in Corporate Training and Development and a minor in Journalism. My first published work was a collaborative collection of autobiographical short stories entitled The Freedom
Writer's Diary, published by Doubleday in October 1999. As a student at CSULB, I became a regular contributor to the The Daily 49er, an independent university newspaper, covering a wide range of subjects. I have also been published in a few poetry anthologies and participated in various writing communities online.
Before joining the Know More Media team I was a peer educator for the CSULB Health Resource Center where my job was to research and write about various health topics as they related to students for the Journal of the Health Resource Center and the Health Beat newsletter.
I am excited about the possibilities that abound for Know More Media and am happy to be connected to the future and success of this network. As citizen journalism evolves and bloggers gain credibility as news gatherers, I believe Know More Media will be one of the publishing companies to lay foundation of the future of the medium.
Most of all though, I look forward to learning and benefiting from the wisdom of those who have more experience in the business world, as well as being part of something remarkable.
